Meet your professional park guide, armed ranger, and team of forest porters at the Mang'ula park offices. Begin your trek through the lush lowland rainforest valleys, following elephant corridors and stepping over ancient tree root networks. Keep your eyes sharp to spot elusive Sanje Mangabey and Iringa Red Colobus monkeys. Arrive by afternoon at Ndundulu Camp (1,450m) for an outdoor dinner cooked by your chef.

Waking up to early jungle birds, begin a steep climb out of the upper montane forest into the beautiful high-altitude bamboo forest zones. Push past the treeline into the sub-alpine heath fields to conquer Mwanihana Peak Summit (2,150m), enjoying endless views over the Kilombero valleys. Descend to the sheltered Fiko Camp for the night.
